AMEA’s licence titles are concentrated in north-western Nigeria, in Niger and Kebbi States, regions selected on the strength of geological surveys.
Niger State
Niger State is one of Nigeria’s leading gold-bearing regions and is also known for lithium and other critical minerals. It is home to the Shiroro Mining Lease and the Mashegu Exploration Licence.
Kebbi State
Kebbi State provides gold-bearing ground in the Ngaski area, close to our Niger State sites. The AUNAI Mining Lease covers Ngaski LGA across Kebbi and Niger States, alongside the Ngaski/Magama and Suru Exploration Licences.
Kaduna and Nasarawa States
Kaduna and Nasarawa States are known for cobalt, nickel and iron ore. AMEA identifies them as areas of interest for exploration and future value-added processing.
