Who we are

AMEA Agro and Mining Export Alliance Limited (RC 1417966) (“AMEA”, “we”, “us”) is responsible for personal information collected through this website. We process personal information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, and, if you provide them, your phone number, company, country, the mineral or commodity you are interested in, and your message.

Like most websites, our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) records basic technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the website.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and route it to the right person at AMEA
To keep a record of our correspondence
To keep the website secure and working

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Legal basis

We process enquiry information because you have asked us to respond (your consent and our legitimate interest in replying), and technical information because it is necessary to operate the website securely.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are stored in a Google Sheet operated by AMEA (Google Workspace / Google Apps Script) and sent by email to info@amea.ng. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies when the map loads. Social media links take you to platforms that have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and manage our relationship with you, and then delete it unless we must keep it for legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict its use, or withdraw your consent. To make a request, email info@amea.ng. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
