Overview

Exploration and mining

AMEA explores, extracts and plans to process solid minerals essential to global industries. Geological surveying and modern exploration identify high-potential sites, and extraction follows strict safety and environmental standards.

Our technical programme is led by formally appointed consultant geologists.

Minerals portfolio

Our minerals

Gold, lithium (spodumene) and iron ore are named in AMEA’s licence titles. Exploration has also identified cobalt and nickel.

Value addition

Processing strategy

Development priority AMEA plans to invest in downstream processing in Nigeria. These initiatives are part of our growth strategy.

Mineral refining (planned)

Developing capacity to process raw ore into high-purity metals and alloys.

Battery-grade processing (planned)

Aiming to strengthen Nigeria’s role in the EV and storage supply chain.

Construction materials (planned)

Aiming to supply limestone and iron ore to cement and steel producers.

Our process

From exploration to market

Every phase is handled by qualified people, from the first survey to the buyer.

Field traverse across a licence area
  1. Step 1

    Survey and mapping

Geological surveys and mapping identify high-potential ground.

  2. Step 2

    Exploration

Trenching, sampling and drilling confirm mineral occurrences.

  3. Step 3

    Estimation and feasibility

Consultant geologists quantify resources and test viability.

  4. Step 4

    Licence conversion

Exploration Licences are converted into Mining Leases.

  5. Step 5

    Extraction

Responsible extraction under strict safety and environmental standards.
